Alright I'll look at doing that as well, thank you! Well the good news is that at least the cable is probably ok, as it is registering something. Ford strongly recommends that drivers use extreme caution when using any device or feature that may take their focus off the road. Plug in phones, flash drives and other USB devices into your USB ports, and use SYNC 3 to play all of your favorite music. If it didn't, it would just go into the "Aux" menu and stay there doing nothing. Appreciate the insight though! I might be wrong though.
Discussion Starter • #1 • 9 mo ago. Sorry. USB ports are located in the center console or in the Audio Controls panel. My assortment of accessories require three data enabled USB ports. Ah! These can be found on Amazon for less than $10.
